Article Marketing

So you have created you Article, now what do you do with it ? well the simple answer is you submit it to a article publishing site. Some of the top sites have Google Page Rank of 6 so pretty soon google will be crawling all over your article and including any backlinks in its indexes. For each different site you article is posted on you will receive a backlink, so the more sites you can get your article on the more links you get and if you have done everything right the higher you will rank.

However submitting your article to a number of directories can be a time consuming task, so this is where an article submitter comes in, these come in two forms, either a hard coded program or a website. Now you need to be careful as if you submit the same article to hundreds of sites google will see that as duplicate content and wont count the backlinks, however some tools allow you to modify the article slightly on each submission to get round this, so lets have a look at the main contenders

MyArticleNetwork.com
This is a web based Article submitter, but is one of my favorates, this site does everything possible to help prevent google penalising you for duplicate content. Once you have written your article (300 words or more) it then gives you the option to rewrite the title and a number of sentances, by rewriting in this manner it means that each published article is different. The website also drip feeds your articles so again google doesnt suddenly see a whole host of articles appearing at the same time. Unfortuntly this site costs just over $40 a month, but I have articles on here which have been published over 40 sites and still counting.

Free Traffic System
Second on my list is the freetraffic system, as the name suggests there is no cost for using this service, but the functionality is less than my article network, but there are still a lot of benifits to using it. For a start there is no automatic rewriting feature, you need to include [SPIN] and [/SPIN] around sentances you wish to change, the interface is a little cumbersome , in fact I write my articles in word, paste them into myarticlenetwork, rewrite them and then copy them to free traffic system, the result is I can get a single article distributed on over 80 blogs, each one slightly different. But its free, it does the job and with a little bit of work you can start getting a large number of backlinks quickly and easily

Automatic Article Submitter
Whilst a tool which can automatically submit your article to a number of directories sounds good, be warned this tool takes a lot of time to setup, it has no spinning facility and accesses only a limited number of directories. The tool does work and it will submit your article to a number of submission sites whilst you sit back and watch and that bit is quite impressive but be warned you must visit all of these sites and create a login before the tool will work. Without the ability to Spin the document you are risking google penalizing you through duplictae content so be careful. My opionin use myarticlenetwork instead, yes its more expensive but it delivers on the spinning front and enables you to start submitting articles the second you sign up.
